Putting Misty II to Work in the Role of Temperature and #health Screening for COVID-19 Increases Safety, Efficiency, and Affordability
Boulder, CO — January, 11, 2021 — #mistyrobotics, the creators of the Misty II platform #robot, today announced the General Availability of the Temp Screening Assistant. After successful completion of its pilot program with multiple healthcare institutions and other organizations, the product is now commercially available. This is the only temperature screening solution to employ a #robot with character, Misty II, delivering efficiency, affordability, high accuracy and safety for employees, patients and visitors.
The Misty II #robot has been equipped with a high accuracy, thermal imaging camera, temperature reference device, and a screening application that leverages her natural personality. There are two versions available to meet the specific screening needs of the organization. The capabilities of the Core version include:
- Closed-loop temperature screening (accuracy within +/- 0.5 C)
- An interactive #health question survey
- Immediate pass/fail result determination and recording
- Configurable SMS and/or email notifications
- Web-based administration and reporting
- First of its kind, dynamic character interaction
- A great unflappable attitude
Customers can upgrade from the Core version to the Specialized version, gaining the opportunity to customize screening questions and greetings, have an optional temperature readout on Misty’s screen and the leverage the ability to print “I’ve been screened” stickers.
